I was almost ready to give upBut... then while doing a search online I came across a recommended tradesmen site which is called WorkBidder. I checked it out and sure enough on first glance it seems pretty good. There's lots of builders there and lots in my area of Edinburgh. I called around some of my friendsThey had a few recommendations but the same problem happened, these recommended tradesmen are too busy and maybe they are vetted and recommended they have no time to work for me.

A builder called me back todayAlthough he didn't sound very professional so I said I'd call him back. I wanted to ask him if he had any references but I was afraid to ask.

Finding builders in my areaSo, I've just bought a new property and before I can actually move in I'll need a lot of development work completed and I'll need to speak to a lot of builders. My first stop was the Yellow Pages. I thumbed through the big book and made a few calls but didn't have much luck as most of the workers seemed too busy to answer their phones. Probably they're all on the road and too busy.
